The Aarhus Social Ontology Group. or ASOG, is a research group based at Aarhus University dedicated to the philosophical study of social reality. We investigate the nature of social groups, social cohesion, collective responsibility, and how social structures affect agency.
ASOG currently hosts two research projects: the ERC-funded The Glue of Society [GLUE] and the DFF-funded Hybrid Agency and Moral Responsibility [HARM].

Ebbe Stoklund and Samuel Bowerman will both start on PhD projects affiliated to the GLUE project on September 1.

Nicolai Knudsen and Lauritz Munch has received 3.2 million DKK from the Independent Research Fund Denmark for a new research project on collective moral responsibility and artificial intelligence. Read more about the project here.
